CSO Organises Personality Trait and Competencies Assessment

Monday, December 10, 2018

CSO organised a “Personality Trait and Competencies Assessment” on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at IST Labs, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) for senior year undergraduate students to prepare them for future career opportunities and challenges in which 132 students participated. The assessment was designed to assess the student’s personality traits, leadership skills, situational problem-solving skills and other cognitive skills - which would greatly sharpen their performance skills, both in terms of interview performance as well as workplace to prepare them for future career opportunities and challenges.

TRAIT is mapped on the popular Big Five Theory of Personality and expands on to 13 internationally accepted personality scales in business and at work. A personalised report with detailed description, performance implication and development recommendation for each of 13 scales will be shared with each student.

A thorough coaching session based on reports of assessments will also be conducted on December 13, 2018 by the expert to identify and consolidate existing strengths of students, working on individual areas of development required for progressive careers, and prepare them for university-to-work transition to realise their potential.

This is another initiative which has formally hired the services of a Chartered MCIPD, British Psychological Society and Association for Business Psychology UK expert to conduct the assessments, and it plans to host more such sessions to benefit our students.
