Returning students

Documents required for Check-in By Returning Students are

  • A valid smart card.
  • Receipts of all applicable payments for tuition, security and On-Campus Residence dues
  • A printed copy of the notification/email of allocation of On-Campus Residence
  • A copy of the financial aid award (in case of a recipient)

How to Check-In

  • Present the above mentioned documents to the Housing Officer at the building.
  • Sign the Housing Agreement.
  • Collect room keys.
  • The room must be carefully checked. All complaints must be forwarded to the Housing Office within 24 hours of check in at rcrepairs@lums.edu.pk

Important Notes

Please ensure that you arrive at the specified time. Early or late arrivals are subject to approval and must be notified by email to residence@lums.edu.pk
Anything damaged, broken or out of order item must be documented by email at rcrepairs@lums.edu.pk
Documenting the missing/broken items on the check-in form ensures that existing damages are not charged.
Subsequent repair costs of the room fittings, including bulbs and locks are the sole responsibility of the resident.

New Students

  • New students will be notified by the OSA Housing Office regarding check in.
  • Information regarding accommodation, check-in date and timings will be available on the LUMS website.
  • Students must check in, in person on the assigned date and time.
  • Upon reaching LUMS students must go directly to the assigned residential building.
  • Arrivals after the specified date without prior notification will lead to cancellation of space.

Documents that New Students must bring with them

  • A valid photo ID such as passport, driving license, NIC card or school ID card
  • Receipts of all applicable payments for tuition, security and On-Campus Residence dues
  • A copy of the acceptance of ‘Offer of Conditional Admission’
  • A copy of the financial aid award (in case of a recipient)

  • Sign the Housing Agreement.
  • Collect room keys.
  • The room must be carefully checked. All complaints must be forwarded to the Housing Office within 24 hours of check in at rcrepairs@lums.edu.pk
