Student Code of conduct

LUMS is committed to the best possible student experience on campus. To this end, the University fosters a community that is based on providing support to all its members, and expecting ethical conduct, transparency, and a culture of respect for equality and diversity. Students are therefore expected to conduct themselves in a way that is in line with this fostering, and in terms of the Student Code of conduct that is developed for the purpose.

The Student Code of conduct is developed to ensure that you are aware of your responsibilities as a student of LUMS, and applies to all students, across both physical and virtual environments. In enrolling as a student at the University, it is imperative to abide by the Code of Conduct.

In addition to the Student Code of Conduct, a number of other University policies and codes set out specific conduct requirements. These relate to areas including (but not limited to):

  • University accommodation
  • Parking on campus
  • Smoking
  • IT use
  • Equality and diversity
  • Health and Safety
  • Sexual Harassment
